Steven Cray Ritchie, 74, of Ewing passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Hospice of Hope Care Center.  Steve was born in Maysville on March 29, 1949 son of the late Chester C. & Doris Mae Burns Ritchie.  He was a retired Retail Sales Manager for Butternut & Rainbo Bread Companies and former owner of Golden Flake Potato Chip Co.  He was a member of Maysville Church of Christ and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trap shooter.  He enjoyed spending time with family, especially the grandchildren and playing cards. He was a 1967 graduate of Maysville High School.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Barbara Jean Hurst Ritchie; a son Brian Keith (Brenda) Ritchie of Maysville, Robbin Ann (Jeff) Allison of Germantown and Theresa Cray (Roscoe) Fite of Maysville.  Six grandchildren, Dylan Ross Biddle, Lauren Ann Biddle, Dalton Keith Ritchie, Cheyenne LaShae Ritchie, Sarah Elizabeth Fite and Roscoe Cray Fite. A great grandson Carson Biddle also survives.

Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Refinery Church of the Nazarene, 156 W Maple Leaf Road, Maysville, KY with Pastor Lonnie Blosser officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Dylan Biddle, Dalton Ritchie, Cray Fite, Dale Miller, Kenny Humphries, and Ricky Fryman.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Lawrence, Larry Small, Jeff Stephens and Jim Lightner.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Visitation 3-5 P.M.
