Susan Sapp Schatz, 66 of Flemingsburg passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  Susan was born on November 26, 1954 in Maysville to the late John "Jack" & Judith "Judy" Saunders Sapp.

Susan was a very loving and caring person with a big heart and sweet soul. She cherished her family and friends and enjoyed sitting around and cutting up, she had a tremendous sense of humor and loved to laugh. A strong- willed person, she was  "A real fighter".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. "Rick" Schatz, a brother, Jackie Sapp, and a sister, Saundra Adair.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jamie (Michael) Keesee, Kim (Michael) Strohofer & John (Lacey) Schatz, eight grandchildren: Gerricka, Jamerra, Edie, Michael, Darius, Paisley, Jaxton & Aubrey, her sister, Debbie Rollins, and her best friends, Vicki Purdon & Jeanette Moran.
