Sylvia Corde Peters, 86, of Maysville passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. She was born in May's Lick, Kentucky on October 25, 1939, to the late  Thomas and Ella Mae Bealer Corde.

For many years, Sylvia was the welcoming presence that greeted everyone at the front desk and operated the switchboard at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Following her retirement from Meadowview, she dedicated her time to family and grandchildren, cultivated her yard, and pursued her interest in planting and nurturing her flowers.

Sylvia cared deeply for those around her, showing kindness to everyone, she encountered and was always ready to offer whatever she had to help someone in need. Her devotion never faltered, and her faith remained strong. Her legacy will be respectfully remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sylivia is survived by her daughters, Christy (Guy) King, Nicole (Brian) Miller; son, Mark Peters; sister, Anna Louise Corde; her grandchildren, Ashley Peters, Darius (Brynne) Miller, Reese (Lacey) Miller, Thomas King, Taylor Miller, and Reagon Miller whom she absolutely adored; two great granddaughters, Nadia and Kalani; three great grandsons, Paxton, Devyn, Emeryon, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Palmer Funeral Home assisted and cared for the Peter's family. In keeping with Mrs. Sylvia's wishes, no formal services will be held.
