MAYS LICK   Thelma Hollifield Boone, 95, of May's Lick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.

Mrs. Boone was born in Tennessee on September 18, 1922 daughter of the late Richard & Mary Stone Hollifield.  She was a retired secretary working during WW II at National Cash Register in Dayton, OH and First Christian Church of Maysville where she also served as a Sunday School Teacher for 24 years.  She is currently a member of May's Lick Christian Church and was a life long member of the Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron.

Survivors include 2 sons, Donald Boone and friend Beverly Ferell and Kenneth (Barbara) Boone both of Maysville; 2 grandchildren, Bryan E. (Traci) Boone and Rebecca Boone; 5 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Devin, Caleb, Nolan and Grace; 1 sister and 2 brothers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sidney M. Boone on December 3, 2010 and 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Memorial Service will be held at 5 P.M. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Maysville Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1414 Forest Ave, Maysville with Pastor Marilyn Roades officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory of May's Lick is serving the family.
