Walter W. "Willie" Mitchell, 71, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Maysville on February 13, 1944 son of the late Walter C. & Dorothy Meyers Mitchell.  He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Valley Bow Hunters.  Willie loved to tell stories about the past.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Louis C. (Peggy) Mitchell and Fred Mitchell both of Mason Co.  3 nieces, Brenda Fetters of Maysville with whom he made his home, Linda Helphinstine of Mason Co and Tina Conn of Fleming Co. ; a nephew, Louis T (Stacie). Mitchell of Frankfort.  Several great nieces & nephews also survive.
Graveside rites will be at 4 P.M. Saturday in the Charleston Bottom Cemetery.  Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
