Willa Mae Kidd, 62, of May’s Lick, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.

Born in Brown County, Ohio on July 7, 1963, Willa was the daughter of the late George Crowell and the late Nellie Mae Garrison Brooks.

Willa had worked for PCP in Ripley, Jockey International in Maysville and US Shoe Factory in Flemingsburg. She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Robert Kidd; her two children, Nellshida Brooks and Demetrius Brooks; her two grandchildren, Kingston and Lathet Brooks;  three of her siblings, Ada Brooks, Mildred Brooks, and Melissa Brooks; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her parents George and Nellie Mae, Willa was preceded in death by several siblings.

Memorial services will be held to celebrate Willa's Life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at May's Lick Baptist Church beginning at 12 p.m. with Pastor L. Rodney Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the hour of service at the church.
