MAYS LICK   William Preston "Billy" Berry, 74 of Lexington and formerly of Portsmouth,  OH passed away on Tuesday April 16, 2019 at his home.

Billy was born in Maysville on November 6, 1944 son of the late Preston & Mary Fox Berry and was retired from the Coca Cola Company of Portsmouth.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Lonnie K. (Vickie) Greene of Lexington; three sisters Cynthia (Mark) Turner and Beverly Greene both of Lexington and Mabel Avent of Fredericksburg, VA.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charles Wayne Berry and a sister Barbara Thompson.  Several nieces & nephews and a host of family & also friends survive.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery with military rites conducted by Simon Kenton Post # 2734 VFW.  Visitation will be from Noon till time of the service on Wednesday.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
