MAY'S LICK  William D. "Buster" Hicks, 76, of Lexington died October 17, 2011 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore.  He was a retired field representative for the Kentucky Department of Revenue.
Mr. Hicks was born in Ghent, KY on November 17, 1934 son of the late Rev. J.K. and Jessie Clay Hicks.  He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and an U.S. Army Veteran and a KY Colonel.
Survivors include 4 sons. William D. Hicks of Richmond, Scott Hicks of Nicholasville, Rev. Brian Hicks of Nashville, TN and Rocky Hicks of Lexington.  3 grandchildren and 3 sisters, Doris Montgomery of Lexington, Barbara Doyle of May's Lick and Linda Lakes of Ocala, FL
Services will be at 1 P.M. Wednesday, Oct. 19th at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick.  Burial  to  follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation Noon until 1 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
