William Grant Ramsey, 83 went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2017 at the Ohio Valley Manor.

Mr. Ramsey was born in Mason County on May 30, 1934 son of the late Charles & Mary Ellen Foley Ramsey.  He was a carpenter and worked at DP & L and First Christian Church.  He was a senior Deacon at Second Baptist in May's Lick and an U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife Norma Burns Ramsey.  A son, David W. Ramsey; 3 step sons, William Perry, Charles S. (Angela) Perry, Robert S. (Cydonia) Perry; 2 sisters, Mary (Anthony) French and Henrietta (Beryl) Williams.  He was preceded in death by 2 wives, Mary Katherine Jones Ramsey and Minnie Wilkins Ramsey; a sister Virginia Scott; and a step son David Burns.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Second Baptist Church in May's Lick with Rev. L. Rodney Bennett officiating.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by Simon Kenton Post # 2734 VFW.  A visitation will be held from 5-7 Sunday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
