MAY'S LICK  William "Bill" Riickert, 76, of Sardis passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.  He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Riickert was born in Mason County on March 12, 1934 son of the late William Taft & Goldia Jefferson Riickert.
Survivors include 3 brothers, Ivan Wayne Riickert of Eufaula, AL, Freddie David (Velma) Riickert of Cynthiana, Gary Dale (Hazel) Riickert of Lexington.  2 sisters, Linda Faye (James) Dobbs of Hartselle, AL and Carolyn Lee (Jonathan) Shaw of Maysville.  3 nieces and 1 nephew and several great nieces & nephews.
Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Paul Fields officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation Noon until 2 P.M. on Thursday.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
