Charles Workman, 89, of Maysville passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at UK Medical Center. Charlie was born in Robertson County on January 7,1933 son of the late William & Leona White Workman. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of May’s Lick Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son Donald Gene “Donnie” (Carol) Workman Sr. of Ewing; four grandchildren, Donald G. Workman, Jr., Heather Nicole Workman, Ricky A. (Tabetha) Workman, Jr. and Laura A.(Jeff Hardymon) Workman; Eleven great grandchildren; a brother Donnie (Margie) Workman of Fleming County and a daughter-in-law Jennifer Workman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nadine Hunt Workman in 1994, two sons Charles Cecil Workman and Ricky A. Workman, Sr on March 30th; seven sisters, Anna Pearl Stanton, Virginia Moore, Betty Wheeler, Margaret Jacobs, Juanita Colemire, Lucille Hamilton and Mary McKee; three brothers, Everett Workman, Robert Workman and William Workman.
Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at May’s Lick Baptist Church with Rev’s Aaron Cude and Kevin Cornette officiating. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 P.M Monday at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorials suggested to May’s Lick Baptist Church.
