Christopher Lee Fox, 41, of Douglasville, GA, departed this life on March 11, 2022. Chris was not just a brother, a son, or a friend. He was a kind and gentle soul, and anyone who knew him was lucky to have him in their lives. Chris never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His laugh was infectious, and he was a delight to be around.
Chris was born on June 10, 1980 to Kimberly Fox of Maysville, and Edwin “Skip” Ventus of Cincinnati. Chris attended Mason County High School where he graduated with the Class of 1999. He was affectionately known to family and close friends as “Brother”. He had a passion for music and food and was always a source of positivity and laughter. Chris’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
Chris is preceded in death by his great grandparents- Herbert and Elizabeth Fox & Charles and Martha Lang; his grandparents- Cecil and Annetta Fox; two aunts, Karen Fox and Cecile Smith; and an uncle, Gary Fox.
Chris is survived by his daughter Mariah Niemeier; his mother, Kim Fox; his sisters Ashleigh Fox and Alison (Marcio) Teixeira; two nephews, Bobby and Whander; two nieces, Carrington and Aviana; cousin/brothers Shane Fox, Aric Fox, Lamar (Brooke) Fox , and Jason Fox; cousins Alesia Fox, Christi Fox- Thompson, and, Klio (Keith) Coleman; aunts and uncles Martha Larraine Fox, Patricia (Albert) Thompson, Kevin (Thelma) Fox, and Jim (Cee) Smith; Great Uncle Pat Fox; two brothers by love Randy Kirk and Marcus Boulden; and two special dads Richard Commodore and Michael Noel.
Memorial service will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
