Donna (Hitt) Snedegar

Donna Hitt Snedegar, 64, of Maysville, died on March 22, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was born on February 17, 1958, to the late William (Billy) and Aletha Hitt.

She was retired from the Mason County District Court after 29 years of service and she currently was employed part time by the Mason County Child Support Office.

Donna attended New Hope Christian Church.  She loved playing golf and sharing time with family and friends and taking care of her English Bulldog Dixie.  She was a very caring and loving person and enjoyed doing things for others.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and especially her constant companion Dixie.

She is survived by her son Douglas Chad (Alyshia Kent) Snedegar of Mt. Sterling, KY, and her twin sisters, Sharon (Don) Christy, and Karen (Daryl) Ashcraft both of Maysville.  She is also survived by her nieces Amanda Ashcraft of Maysville, Tara Tolliver of Lexington, and her nephew Kyle (Shannon) Christy of Charleston, SC.  Also surviving are 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews.  She is also survived by many loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, Lloyd and Margaret Hitt, and Scott and Lillian Goodpaster, and her nephew Tyler Christy. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the New Hope Christian Church in Maysville. Interment will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 – 3 pm on Saturday at the Church. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the New Hope Christian Church (6048 Parry Lane, Maysville, KY, 41056).
