Harold C. Burton

Harold C. Burton, 86, of May’s Lick passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. 

            Mr. Burton was born in Harrison County on April 20, 1934 son of the late Lloyd & Bertha Cain Burton.  He was a retired farmer and bulldozer operator. 

            Survivors include a daughter Darlene (Benny) McNeese; 3 sons, Jeff (Penny) Burton, Harold Wayne (Shannon) Burton, Danny (Barbara) Burton,; seven grand-children,  Todd & Troy Miller, Raejean (Enrique) Lopez, Amanda (Zac) Sutton, Amy Burton, Gerry (Sara) Tolbert and Kara Anderson,;  eight great-grandchildren, Clayton & Brook Anderson, Kyndall & Kaiser Sutton, Rosella, Lydia & Phoebe Tolbert and Millie Mullenix; a sister Jean Mudd.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Doris Cooper Burton on February 6, 2019 and two brothers Hobart & Jim Burton and a sister Rachel Tieman.

            Services for the family will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Rev. Kevin Cornette officiating.  Burial will follow in the May’s Lick Cemetery.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
