MAYSVILLE… Joyce Graves Clark, 84, of Maysville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 1, 1934 in Robertson County to the late Clifton & Emaline Jett Graves. Joyce was a devout member of the May’s Lick Baptist Church. An avid gardener, she enjoyed working in her flowers and yard, and cherished spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Clark was a long- time employee of Merz Brothers & Gene’s Appliance Center.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Kenneth, Wayne & Scotty Graves, and a sister, Janet England.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 62 years, Osmer “Buddy” Clark, her daughters; Melanie (Steve) Jacobs of May’s Lick, Karen (Tom) Crump of May’s Lick & Angela Clark of Maysville, her grandchildren; Holli (Shannon) Smith, Jaclyn (Justin) Badeau, Bryan (Alayna) Jacobs, Allan (Carlee) Crump, Jennifer (Byron) Lang & Brandon (Julieann) Jacobs, her great-grandchildren; Kambryn & Kennady Lang, Ainslee & Corbin Crump, Ellery & Autumn Jacobs, an da brother, Bobby (Diana) Graves and a sister Mary (Tommy) Orme.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1pm on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the May’s Lick Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Cornette & Bro. Trent Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am – 1 pm on Monday at the church.
