Jack Leyendecker, Jr. 86, of Maysville passed away on Monday, September 18,2023 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. Mr. Leyendecker was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 13,1936 son of the late Fred & Ida Tyree Leyendecker. Jack was a well-known meat cutter for Kroger’s for just shy of 60 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines.
Survivors include his son Jack (Heather) Leyendecker; a granddaughter Felicia Leyendecker; a sister Betty Nobels; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Erngard R. Ernie Bayerle Leyendecker; five sisters, Mary Helen, Myra, Jean, Carol and Eva.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, September 20,2023 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Rev. Kevin Courtney officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Hospice of Hope.
