Larry Dale Mason, 73, of Tollesboro passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022at his home with his family by his side. Larry was born in Lewis County on March 3,1949 son of the late Otis & Jean Donley Mason. He was a retired employee of Federal Mogul and had shared his talents with Carol Jean Flowers. Larry attended Hickory Grove Church and was a gifted musician.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 45 years, Peggy Lowe Mason; a sister, Carol Kesling; two brothers, Billy (Arlene) Mason and Gary (Mary) Mason; a sister-in-law Paula Mason; three nieces Tracy McRoberts, Hope Milthaler, and a special niece, Miranda (T.J.) Hanselman and their children, Jackson Lowe, Jillian & Jade Hanselman. Four nephews, Christopher Mason, Troy Lemming, Jackie Mason, Terry McCall, and his canine companion Ralphie. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce Lemming; three brothers, Roger Mason, Bobby Mason, and Jimmy Mason; a brother-in-law Wayne Kesling and a sister-in-law Connie Mason.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday, December 26, 2022 at Hickory Grove Church in Tollesboro with Pastor David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wedonia Cemetery in Mason County. Serving as pallbearers will be T. J. Hanselman, Jackson Lowe, Christopher Mason, Jackie Mason, Scott Porter and Jim McRoberts. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. Monday until the time of the service at the church. Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory of May’s Lick is serving the family. Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
