Lillian Smith Obituary

Lillian Ann Smith, age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital. She was born October 8, 1948, in Rising Sun, IN to Robert and Edwina (Wise) Fleming. She was a member of Maysville Community Lighthouse Church. She worked as an STNA for many years. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Lillian truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; in her younger years, crafting and knitting, her morning coffee and watching wrestling with her grandson. She loved any movie with “The Rock” in it and Hallmark shows. She loved her snacks and spending time with her family. She also had a big interest in PC games. Her fur babies were a big part of her life also.

Lillian had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Crone and son Leonard Danner; brothers, Bob (Cindy), Gary, David (Beth) and Jerry.; sisters; Vicky (Marvin), Patty and Debbie (Ed). She had 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Steve Foster; 2 daughters, Lillian Zarazua and Edwina Hartness.

Family, friends. and others whose lives Lillian touched are invited to the Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory from 12P.M.-1P.M. on Monday, October 3, 2022. Burial will follow visitation at Mays Lick Cemetery.
