Richard F. Vice, 95, of Maysville passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Hospice Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mr. Vice was born in Nicholas County on February 15, 1927 son of the late Clay & Mattie Stone Lyons Vice. He was a retired tobacco & dairy farmer and a member of May’s Lick Christian Church. Dickie was a member of May’s Lick Lions Club and an avid bowler and UK basketball fan. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
Survivors include a nephew, Mike Vice of Fleming County and several great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Evelyn Chamberlain Vice and a brother Edwin Vice both in 2008; a nephew Tribby Vice and a sister-in-law Gladys Chamberlain.
Services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 26. 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Bro. Tom Hackney officiating. Burial will follow in the May’s Lick Cemetery.
