Tony Dugan, Jr. 78, of Maysville passed away on Friday January 28, 2022 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. Tony was born in Fleming County on July 18, 1943 son of the late Tony Dugan, Sr & Flora Jones Dugan. He was a farmer and a former employee of Headwaters and a member of Purity Baptist Church in Washington. Tony loved life and faithfully served his church as a deacon. He was a true farmer that farmed even after having a full- time job and enjoyed every minute of it.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years Toddy Adamson Dugan; three sons, Steve Dugan, Todd (Susan) Dugan, Richard (Kim) Bradford; a daughter, Tonya Wheeler; one brother, James Dugan; two sisters, Beulah Gaitherwright and Mary Gilbert; seven grandchildren, Regina (Billy) Mitchell, Julia (Chris) Monroe, Christopher (Lacey) Dugan, Lauren Dugan, Brittany (Jared) Robinson, Brandon Wheeler, Daniel Dugan and Ashlyn Dugan; five great-grandchildren, Eli Mitchell, Joseph Turner, Kenley Monroe, Xander Wheeler and Hartlyn Monroe, and a special friend and nephew Robbie Lawrence and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Billy Dugan; two sisters Wilma Mason and Jenny Lawrence.
Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May’s Lick with Pastor Mike Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
