Obituary

William Eugene “Bill” Scott, 82, of Germantown passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his residence.  Bill was born in Covington on June 2, 1940 son of the late Joseph E. & Thelma Hayes Scott and a step-father Howard J. Davis.  He was a retired Painter at Central Trust Tower in downtown Cincinnati.  He was an avid fisherman, war history and wrestling buff.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Thelma Reynolds Scott; four sons, William E. Scott, Anthony C. Scott, Steven H. Scott, Brian D. Scott of Germantown; a sister Joyce A. Brown; three half- brothers, Dennis Scott, Keith Scott and Randall Scott; six grandchildren, Joseph M. Scott, Samantha L. Evans, Matthew R. Scott, Brianna L. Scott, Cassidy S. Scott, and Maria Hurtt.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Sgt. Justin A. Scott and Cheyenne R. Scott; and a great grandson Damien J. Scott. He will be missed by all that knew him.
