I am simply at a loss for words when I realize this sweet girl is no longer here with us on this earth. Katie was such a sweet heart and so genuinely kind. I am so sorry. I remember when they were younger Lindsey Melanie all three.Always going to each others houses.Going to the birthday parties and sleep overs.I always remember her being at our home.I will keep you all in my prayers.We love you all. God Bless.
Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,

I was so sad to hear of Katie's sudden passing. I am keeping you in prayer and asking Him to help you remember the joy Katie brought to your life. I loved having her in music at DRE! She is smiling and singing with the angels and bringing joy to Heaven.

My heart breaks with yours as you try to process the sudden grief of Katie's passing from this world. She was a dear girl! I enjoyed interacting with her at Asbury and am saddened we won't get the opportunity to do so here. Yet, we do have hope of her eternity with Jesus and getting to see her in heaven before long.
